Join the Oak Park Runners Club

Join the Oak Park Runners Club (OPRC). Our club is one of the oldest and most active runners' organizations in the Chicago area. Our members are a diverse group - young & not so young, fast & not so fast, recreational runners & competitive racers, joggers & marathoners. However, we share a common enthusiasm for running that's contagious. Our love of the sport, and the camaraderie & support you'll find as an OPRC member, will help make your running more fun and rewarding. Check out the Membership page for more information on how to join.

Volunteer for the Oak Park Runners Aid Station at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Sticky

Once again, the Oak Park Runners Club will be managing the Bank of America Chicago Marathon aid station at mile 18 (Taylor Street / Little Italy).

On Sunday October 12, one of the top marathons in the world will be taking place in our city and YOU can be a part of it!

We need volunteers to help distribute Gatorade and Water to 40,000+ of your fellow runners. We guarantee you a front row seat to the marathon! Any Oak Park Runners Club member, their family, friends and supporters can volunteer at our aid station. For safety reasons volunteers should be at least 16.
